PERFORMANCE The intelligent energy management of the BMW i8 Roadster coordinates the interaction between the electric motor and the updated lithium-ion battery with the combustion engine, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/hin just 4.6 seconds

TECHNOLOGY What makes the BMW i8 Roadster unique is its exceptional lightweight concept called LifeDrive architecture. It consists of the Drive module – an aluminium chassis – and the Life module – an ultralight passenger compartment made of high-strength carbon-fibre. Together they create sustainability and perfect weight balance, and deliver unmatched sportiness.

EXTERIOR The BMW i8 Roadster is futuristic right down to the last detail. Its imposing lightweight carbon-fibre dihedral doors are combined perfectly with the exclusive all-electric soft top roof for maximum effect. The distinctive V-shaped black belt stretches along the entire car, underscoring its seductive low-hung silhouette. What’s more, the impressive streamflow design, which optimises airflow and creates unprecedented aerodynamics, gives you everything you need to set you free.
